The first Hugget jackets were made by Hugget creator, Katie, at her home in Alstonefield. By August 2013 the demand for Hugget jackets became too much for her to keep up with. Although she still makes special orders herself most Hugget jackets are now made at Gaddum & Gaddum in Leek, Staffordshire. The Gaddum family began working in the silk trade in Manchester in 1826, they worked for a time in Macclesfield before settling in Leek in 2008. At Hugget we are dedicated to bringing you a product that is designed and made in Britain, we are proud to have found this local partner in Leek, a town with a rich history of fabric and clothing manufacturing.
